    human liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16667-1-AP (IYD antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 16667-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

IYD(Iodotyrosine dehalogenase 1) is also named as C6orf71, DEHAL1 and belongs to the nitroreductase family. It is a transmembrane protein that deiodinates mono-and di-iodotyrosines (MIT, DIT) and recycles iodine, a scarce element in the environment, for the efficient synthesis of thyroid hormone. This protein has 6 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
