  • Western Blot (WB) analysis of various lysates using MOAP1 Polyclonal antibody (15325-1-AP)

    WB analysis using 15325-1-AP (same clone as 15325-1-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15325-1-AP (MOAP1 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15325-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Modulator of apoptosis 1 (MOAP1, also known as MAP-1 and PNMA4) belongs to the PNMA family and is expressed in various types of tissues (PMID: 36724555). MAP1 contains a central BH3-like motif and interacts with the BAX protein (PMID: 11060313). It plays a central role in mitochondria and death receptor-mediated apoptosis and is associated with many diseases such as cancers and neurological diseases (PMID: 35269511).
