    WB analysis using 68530-1-Ig (same clone as 68530-1-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68530-1-Ig (MORC2 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68530-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

MORC2 is essential for epigenetic silencing by the HUSH (human silencing hub) complex. It can be recruited by HUSH to target site in heterochromatin. MORC2 also recruits histone deacetylases, such as HDAC4, to promoter regions, causing local histone H3 deacetylation and transcriptional repression of genes.
