FC experiment of SH-SY5Y using 55491-1-AP (same clone as 55491-1-PBS)
1X10^6 SH-SY5Y cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human VGLUT1 (55491-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 55491-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Vesicular glutamate transporter 1 (VGLUT1) is a critical protein involved in the packaging and release of the neurotransmitter glutamate in synaptic vesicles. VGLUT1 is predominantly expressed in neurons that release glutamate, the primary excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, it is a marker of glutamatergic neurons.
