Background Information
Zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein 2 (ZSWIM2) is also named as ZZZ2. ZSWIM2 contained the ZSWIM type domain and other types of zinc-finger domains, including the PHD-type zinc finger, ubiquitin-binding zinc finger, ZZ-type zinc finger, and Ring-type zinc finger. These findings suggest that the ZSWIM2 protein may be involved in a variety of critical biological processes, such as transcriptional regulation, signal transduction, and ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. The expression of ZSWIM2 is testis-specific (PMID: 37161653). The calculated molecular weight of ZSWIM2 is 72 kDa.
