  • Western Blot (WB) analysis of various lysates using CXCL9/MIG Recombinant antibody (84427-4-RR)

    WB analysis using 84427-4-RR (same clone as 84427-4-PBS)

    IFN gamma and LPS treated THP-1 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84427-4-RR (CXCL9 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 and incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84427-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

CXCL9 is a small cytokine known as MIG. CXCL9 is a T-cell chemoattractant, which is induced by IFN-γ. It is closely related to two other CXC chemokines called CXCL10 and CXCL11, whose genes are located near the gene for CXCL9 on human chromosome 4. A high level of CXCL9 revealed in peripheral liquids, can be considered as a marker of host immune response, especially of that involving Th1 cells.
