    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83946-4-RR (FANCD2 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83946-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

    1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug FANCD2 Recombinant antibody (83946-4-RR, Clone:241048G8) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer Set. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83946-4-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Amongst the FA genes, Fanconi Anemia Group D2 Protein (FANCD2) is the most evolutionarily conserved gene, demonstrating a high sequence similarity from lower eukaryotes to humans. Upon activation, Fanconi anemia group D2 protein (FANCD2) is monoubiquitinated at K561 and works in cooperation with other FA and non-FA proteins to repair DNA damage. In regards to the FA pathway, monoubiquitinated or activated FANCD2 is often portrayed as the functional representative for the functions of activated FA signaling. (PMID: 28825622)
