  • Western Blot (WB) analysis of various lysates using FGF2 Polyclonal antibody (30333-1-AP)

    WB analysis using 30333-1-AP (same clone as 30333-1-PBS)

    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 30333-1-AP (FGF2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30333-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

    Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed SKOV-3 cells using FGF-2 antibody (30333-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and Multi-rAb CoraLite ® Plus 488-Goat Anti-Rabbit Recombinant Secondary Antibody (H+L) (RGAR002), CL594-Phalloidin (red). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30333-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2), also referred to as basic FGF, belongs to a family of growth factors that stimulate proliferation of cells of mesenchymal, epithelial and neuroectodermal origin. The mRNA for this gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites, and is alternatively translated from non-AUG (CUG) and AUG initiation codons, resulting in at least five different isoforms with distinct properties.
