Background Information
SYNJ2(Synaptojanin-2) is also named as KIAA0348 and belongs to the synaptojanin family. SYNJ2 encodes an inositol polyphosphate phosphatase that functions in recycling neurotransmitter vesicles and is implicated in spermatogenesis(PMID: 24103750). This protein has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
