    Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84542-6-RR (UCHL3 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84542-6-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84542-6-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

UCH-L3 belongs to the ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase family that deubiquitinates ubiquitin-protein conjugates in the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This enzyme indirectly increases the phosphorylation of IGFIR, AKT, FOXO1 and promotes insulin-signaling and insulin-induced adipogenesis. It is required for stress-response retinal, skeletal muscle and germ cell maintenance and may be involved in working memory.
